A serial entrepreneur who believes in giving back.

In addition to his success as a serial entrepreneur, Patrick Horsman is known for his generosity, philanthropy, and commitment to giving back to the community. He continually looks for ways to share his experience and knowledge with the next generation, and he is particularly interested in helping students achieve their goals as entrepreneurs.

Patrick attended the University of Arizona, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2002 with a triple major in finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. After graduation he co-founded Blue Sand Securities, one of many firms he would found or co-found over the next two decades, predominantly in the alternative investment space across hedge funds, private equity, and real estate.

That track record is exactly why he created this scholarship: to instill the principles and character for success in students who, like him, want to build something of their own.
